Timothy
J. Oitzman,
President
Mr. Oitzman has over fifteen years of transactional
experience in mergers and acquisitions, general
corporate finance, management buy-outs and leveraged
acquisition transactions. Prior to founding
Greystone in 1996, Mr. Oitzman served as vice
president of a San Francisco-based investment
bank. During the last 15 years, he has managed
over 50 transactions valued in excess of $1.8
billion, many of which have been in the construction
materials industry. Mr. Oitzman is considered
to be a key participant in the consolidation of the
U.S. construction materials industry. He is a 1987
graduate of Luther College, where he serves on the
Board of Regents.
Reed
M. Shafer, Vice
President
With a strong background in industry analysis, Mr.
Shafer manages Greystone's economic research and
forecasting activities. Since joining Greystone
in 2002, Mr. Shafer has been actively involved in
numerous transactions including the valuation of over
two dozen companies with total enterprise value in
excess of $1 billion. Prior to joining
Greystone, Mr. Shafer was employed by Andersen
Consulting (now Accenture) and specialized in the
telecommunications and high technology markets.
Mr. Shafer received a BS degree in Business
Administration with concentrations in finance and
accounting from the University of Richmond in
1998. Mr. Shafer is currently pursuing his CFA
designation.
